Elliot had a remarkable way of creating things people remembered—films, adventures, friendships, moments, and experiences that stayed with you.
On Sunday, October 25, we’ll come together to create one more experience in his honor: a gathering among the people who loved him, remembering an extraordinary friend and the life he shared with all of us.
Please join us for a few hours together in his honor, surrounded by the people who loved him.
The Gathering
Mimosas · Lunch · Memories · Film · Temple
We’ll spend time together sharing stories, reconnecting with friends and colleagues, and celebrating Elliot’s life.
There is no formal program for most of the gathering. We want people to have time to talk, reflect, reconnect, share stories, look at photographs, and simply be together.
At approximately 12:00 PM, we’ll gather for a short film in Elliot’s honor.
A Temple for Elliot
In the spirit of the Burning Man Temple, which Elliot loved, we’ll create a small temple of our own.
We invite you to bring something that reminds you of Elliot—a letter, photograph, written memory, drawing, small keepsake, or even something whimsical—and place it in the Temple during the gathering.
Take home anything you wish to keep at the conclusion of the celebration.
Whatever remains, we will carry with us to the Temple at a future Burning Man and leave there in Elliot’s memory, where it will eventually become part of the Temple burn.
